X-Men ala Salvador Larroca

As you can see this is still a work in progress with only part of the team represented.  I'll be rounding out the ranks with a custom Gambit and Havok soon.  Sharp eyed folks will notice that Wolvie here is NOT a custom.  I just can't be bothered to track down a consistent uniform to stick the guy in - and I think Marvel Legends did a credible job to begin with.

Iceman is a custom only in that all his paint was removed so he is actually clear now with only a bit of his paint remaining for "frosty" accents.  I didn't bother to take solo photos of him because it's not a really big deal.

Polaris, of course, has a page dedicated to her because....well.....this IS a Polaris fan site after all.  If you are dying for the recipe for her or just want to see more pictures you can view the page here.

Rogue:

Rogue here started life as a Marvel Legends Black Widow figure (original - not the blonde varient).  For a figure I wasn't all that excited about doing she turned out really neat - I think.
Anyway, I removed the Black Widow's belt, wrist thingies, collar and hair leaving her unbelievably funny looking.  I sculpted her boot tops with Epoxy putty (I used a different brand this time -  Tamiya putty which I didn't like as much as Milliput), added glove cuffs and then set to work on her hair.  This was the scariest part for me but really went much better than expected.
She then got primered and painted.  Her belt was cut from a left over piece of X-Men Classics Gambit's coat (which he gave up when he became Havok) and attached with some E6000.
Her trench coat was from the Marvel Legends Punisher figure (who gave it up when he became Madrox).  I painted it brown.
